Emmit McHenry
Emmit J. McHenry is a founding Principal of Archura, LLC, holding the
position of Chairman and CEO. Mr. McHenry founded several companies
prior to Archura, LLC. They include NetCom Solutions International,
Inc. and Network Solutions, Inc., the Internet domain name service
provider. Mr. McHenry has held management positions with IBM,
Connecticut General, Union Mutual, and Allstate Insurance Company,
where he served in several positions including regional vice president
for the five northwestern states (Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and
Hawaii).
He has held positions on the Executive Committee for the
Council on Competitiveness and the Board of Directors for James Martin
Government Intelligence and Global Technology, L.L.C. Mr. McHenry has
a BA in Communications from the University of Denver, passed the
qualifying exam for a PhD after receiving his MA in Communications from
Northwestern, and holds an Honorary Ph.D. from Shaw University. Mr.
McHenry is a Service Disabled Veteran, having served in the United
States Marine Corps.
Kurt McHenry
Kurt McHenry is a founding Principal of Archura, LLC, holding the
position of President and COO. Prior to founding Archura, LLC. Mr.
McHenry was President and Chief Operating Officer of NetCom Solutions
International, Inc. Mr. McHenry also served as Vice President of
Marketing for NetCom Solutions and, prior to that, as Vice President of
Business Development. Prior to joining NetCom Solutions in 1997, Mr.
McHenry held various sales and marketing positions for AT&T Global
Information Systems and NCR.
Mr. McHenry earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree from George Mason University and has attended Executive
Education programs at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of
Business and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
Mr. McHenry serves on the board of the Sky Walker Flight School, a
non-profit organization focused on providing opportunities through
sports for the youth of the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
